About Cocktail Ratio Calculator
The classic cocktail ratio is 2:1:1 (spirit:sour:sweet) — the Sidecar, Margarita, and Daiquiri all follow this structure. The Negroni is 1:1:1. When batching cocktails for groups, prepare the mix without ice (dilution happens during serving). Add 20–25% water by volume to compensate for the dilution normally added during shaking or stirring.
