About Coffee Ratio Calculator
The golden ratio for most filter coffee is 1:15 to 1:17 (1g coffee per 15–17ml water). Stronger brews use lower ratios (1:12). Espresso is concentrated at 1:2 (a 18g dose produces ~36ml). Cold brew uses 1:7 but is diluted before drinking. Use a kitchen scale — volume measurements for coffee are unreliable due to grind size variation.
