- Soft-boiled: ~3 min (small) to 4 min (XL) — runny yolk
- Medium: ~6 min — jammy, set edges with liquid centre
- Hard-boiled: ~9–11 min — fully set yolk
- Altitude correction: add ~30 s per 300 m above sea level
- Start eggs from cold water for consistent results
