What is the Pomodoro Technique?

The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo. Work is broken into focused intervals (traditionally 25 minutes), separated by short breaks. After 4 focus sessions, take a longer break.

  1. Set a task to work on.
  2. Click Start and work until the timer rings.
  3. Take a short break (5 min).
  4. After 4 sessions, take a long break (15–30 min) and start again.

Adjust focus and break durations in the settings above and click Apply.
